What tanning oil actually does
This isn't sunscreen. It's not trying to be.
Too Turnt Tanning Oil is formulated to enhance your natural tan — it conditions your skin, amplifies the sun's effect, and leaves you with a glow that actually lasts. What it doesn't do is protect you from UV rays. There's no SPF here, and we're not going to pretend otherwise.
We'd rather be straight with you than slap a number on the label that gives you false confidence.
What to expect
The UV index changes by location, season, and time of day... check it the same way you check the weather.
0–2
6–7

3–5
8–10
No SPF. Here's what to do about that.
-
Pair with a separate SPF on your face, shoulders, and chest (the areas that take the most damage)
-
Limit direct exposure during peak UV hours (10am–2pm)
-
Hydrate before and after (tanned skin is thirsty skin)
-
If you start to feel hot or your skin looks red, get out of the sun. A burn takes seconds to happen and days to heal.
Who this is (and isn't) for
This product is not recommended for people with very fair skin or skin that burns easily without building a base first. It is not suitable for use on children.
If you have a history of skin sensitivity or are using any topical medications, check with your doctor before use.
We're eczema-friendly formulated — but everyone's skin is different. Patch test on your inner arm before first use if you're unsure.
The short version
Use it smart, use it often, and use it alongside SPF when the conditions call for it. We want you glowing all summer — not peeling on day two.
